Chief among the blogger's inspiration to create the blog was the constant humanization of Lion King characters within the box of white characters despite the setting in being Africa and full of animals indigenous to the continent. And so far, they've ranked a great many of beautiful fanworks of Lion King fanart that depicts the Lions and other animals of the tale as People of Color.
