Yeah, there's nothing technically inappropriate about Tiana's mascot costume given the series the artist is parodying (FF-X2) and yes, Disney does indeed share a hefty blame with portraying Tiana as a frog for a majority of her film, but it would've be decidedly suspicious if that was the only costume she ended up in (at least for me it would've if i stopped to really think about it).
Esmeralda's also a my favorite of the bunch, the hat just looks like a lot of fun to wear or mess around with and I'm a sucker for elf shoes.
